Ozzimosis

Day 2 was spent on good ice at Ozzimosis.
After a slightly late start we arrived at the Crag high on the side of the Rjukan valley. Splitting up across the Crag, all of us quickly found good ice, across a whole variety of grades, with most of the members working a few grade WI4 routes, while a few lead the 2's and 3's on offer.

Its clear that the ice is good & solid this week, particularly up at these higher crags, so hopefully we'll get plenty more great ice in this week.

Gaz & Martin headed out this evening for a late attempt at Svingfoss,  and after a long and cold fight while the others enjoyed pizza, they returned triumphant

Day 1 - Speed Climbing

We arrived in Rjukan at 4am in our 4 matching Rent-a-Wreck cars, so had a slow start this morning,  exploring some crags, getting involved in the Ice festival,  and watching the Speed Climbing.

Some how,  Matt, Bryn & Dan ended up entering the speed climbing competition, with Bryn even making it through to the second round, and Matt losing by a hair!

American Nick, Ben, Sabine & PeeBee have arrived, so let the Party Start!!

The Ice is looking good, and psyche is high for climbing tomorrow - with a trip to Ozzimosis planned. Whoop Whoop!

24hrs to go

With 24 hours to go until we fly to Norway, things are in full swing...

our main man Nick is on his way over from California (1st class!), and the packing is well underway...bring on the ice!
